Although I didn’t know Patti that long, I can honestly say that I’m grateful for the time I had with her as a friend. Her honest love of life and her obvious happiness and joy at being Isabella’s mother are what made her such a remarkable woman and such a warm, compassionate friend. I was very lucky to have met her when I did and will be forever grateful for the friendship she gave me. Her courage and determination were all part of the amazing person she was. I will truly miss her.

I met Patti through Tara about a year ago. Patti had such a passion for life and a warm heart for everyone she knew. I am very thankful I got to know her. My thoughts to her family for a blessed holiday and a bright new year with Isabella.

Gina,
Thank you for sharing the story of Isabella. I miss her dearly. I am so happy that your family is getting to enjoy her. Please hold her close for all of us as we miss her and her wonderful mommy during these tough holidays. Kids are so resiliant, it’s amazing but I know she will never forget the best mommy in the world. Thank god Isabella had Patti for a mommy. Tommy told me today that Isabella was the prettiest girl in his class
It made me smile, already a looker. I love her so much, tell her tommy and tara said hi. I would love to see her when you guys have time. I totally understand it’s limited but would love to be a part for about an hour. Let me know when your ready. I cannot wait to kiss her and hug her so tight. Tommy says he misses her everyday.
Take care,
Tara

I got to spend some time with Isabella this weekend while she was over my house baking cookies. She saw the picture of Patti, Barb, Pete, and I from the wedding and was looking at it for 15 minutes. She asked for more pictures of her mom and I got out the photo albums from the wedding and the poster boards from the funeral. My mom and I both lost at times; I feel so sad for Isabella and can’t imagine what she’s feeling. But Isabella is very strong. Her eyes teared up a couple of times, but she ended up making us feel better when she laughed at some of the funny pictures from when Patti was little. Isabella is more and more like Patti every time I’m with her. Much like how Patti was, Isabella kept us upbeat and strong. She is a remarkable little girl and will make Patti proud.
I miss Patti so much but I find inspiration in the woman Isabella will become. We must focus our love for Patti on Isabella.
Much love and gratitude for Patti’s friends who have been incredibly supportive and caring; and for those who have shared their warm thoughts of Patti here in this guest book. Isabella will read these someday and it will be a wonderful tribute to her mother.
I love you always, Patti, forever my sister and friend.

I had the pleasure of knowing Patty through a few of her closest friends. I do not measure a person’s success by what type of job he/she holds or what kind of money she/he makes–I measure success by the amount of joy, love, hope, and inspiration one spreads while on this earth. From knowing Patty and reading all the remarks put in her guest book, I’d state that she was extremely successful, indeed!!
Here’s to you Patty!! I know you’re watching down on us and storming heaven with all best wishes and blessings for your friends and family!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Patti through Tara about a year ago picking Isabella and Tommy up at the bus stop. Patti was so much fun to be around, what a beautiful person inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Where do I begin? Patti and I have spent a lifetime together. Best friends since 1st grade. Patti was the sister that I never had. We shared everything together. No matter what was going on in our lives she was always there for me. Patti was my rock and inspiration. She pushed me to do things that I would never do on my own. The happiest times of my life are the times I spent with Patti. Patti was such a remarkable person, she enjoyed life to its fullest and the best part of her life was being a mother. She loved Isabella so much and always wanted the very best for her. The love for her daughter was the one thing that made her fight the cancer battle. I will miss Patti more than anything in this world. Some day I will meet her on the beach! I love you!
