This evening there was a cheerful celebration of Patti’s birthday at Barnaby’s. It was great to see so many dear friends again; too many to mention by name, but little Brett was the youngest, Sally and Ron and their lovely children traveled the fartherest (from Alaska), Chuck called from the fartherest away (South Carolina), and Cindy e-mailed from the fartherest away (Texas). (and Lamont and Laurie are still the most missed dear friends).
The hugs, laughs and smiles were just what Patti wanted for us.
